Dr. Ayman Reffai is a dedicated PhD and Fulbright alumnus with affiliations at the School of Medicine, Stanford University (US), and FSTT, Abdelmalek Essaadi University (Morocco). Specializing in molecular biology, bioinformatics, and cancer research, Ayman is driven by a passion for scientific research and its potential to improve lives. With a strong commitment to making a positive impact on both the scientific community and society at large and a desire to inspire and guide others, Ayman actively engages in research, teaching, mentoring, and fitness endeavors.

Ayman holds a PhD in molecular biology, medical biology, bioinformatics, and biotechnology. He conducted research at the Canary Center at Stanford and FSTT. Throughout his research experience, he has developed a strong interest in the fields of molecular and cell biology, multi-omics, oncology, neuroscience, bioinformatics, and the biotech-biomedical research field.

As a committee member of ReachSci, a society at Cambridge University, Ayman contributes to the design and development of research programs by offering students and early career researchers around the world the possibility to conduct independent research projects by arousing their interest in creativity and innovative research. Ayman has mentored master students as part of the 2022-2023 ReachSci mini-PhD program with the primary objective of overcoming research challenges and providing guidance to students throughout their research projects to prepare them for Ph.D.

Ayman’s passion for mentoring and teaching is evident in his involvement with Lumiere Education, where he provides exceptional students with personalized research programs. This program enables students to learn about the latest developments in their field of interest and undertake independent research projects. Ayman is also actively mentoring and supervising undergraduate and graduate students in various programs at both Stanford University and Abdelmalek Essaadi University, further demonstrating his dedication to helping students achieve their academic and research goals.
