Dr. Ayman Reffai is a dedicated PhD and Fulbright alumnus with affiliations at the School of Medicine, Stanford University (US), and FSTT, Abdelmalek Essaadi University (Morocco). Specializing in molecular biology, biomedical research, bioinformatics, and cancer research, Ayman is driven by a passion for science  and its potential to improve lives. With a strong commitment to making a positive impact on both the scientific community and society at large and a desire to inspire and guide others, Ayman actively engages in research, teaching, mentoring, and fitness endeavors.

2020-2024

PhD Research Project- Biomedicine

My research project aimed to identify the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of nasopharyngeal carcinoma and characterize its molecular profile through proteomics and bioinformatics for the first time in Morocco and Africa. This study lays a foundation for mechanistic studies and identifies potential biomarkers that might improve the early diagnosis and therapeutic pathways of this type of cancer. 

2022-present

Committee member and mentor- ReachSci Society at Cambridge

Teaming up with PhDs from top universities, I help develop and design research programs for students and early career researchers, while also providing mentorship and high-quality training in scientific research.

2023-present

Mentor/Teacher- Lumiere Education

I mentor and teach at Lumiere by providing excellent students with personalized research programs to learn about the cutting-edge in their field of interest and produce an independent research project and scientific paper.
